Le lundi 24 juin, les étudiants de KU Leuven défileront dans la ville de Louvain pour condamner le génocide en Palestine et s’opposer à l’inaction de l’université pour s’engager dans un boycott académique et de ses liens avec les institutions coloniales israéliennes.En tant qu’étudiants de la KU Leuven, nous invitons tout le monde à marcher avec nous, à appeler au boycott académique et à exiger un cessez-le-feu immédiat à Gaza. Mardi, le conseil d’administration de la KU Leuven se réunit pour une réunion importante où ces questions peuvent être discutées. Faisons un geste symbolique que nous voulons que la KU Leuven passe à l’action et marche ensemble en solidarité avec la Palestine !

On Monday the 24th of June the students of KU Leuven will march through the city of Leuven to condemn the current genocide in Palestine and oppose the university’s lack of action to engage in an academic boycott of its ties with settler colonial Israeli institutions. After months of research, it has become clear that KU Leuven is not able to follow its own human rights policy. The Ethics Committee on Dual Use, Military Use & Misuse of Research (ECDMM) of the university is lacking appropriate guidelines and procedures to take into account all evidence regarding the ongoing genocide and the complicitness of settler colonial ‘Israeli’ institutions in it. We, as students of KU Leuven, condemn this structural failure of our university and invite everyone to march together with us, call for an academic boycott and demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. On Tuesday KU Leuven’s board convenes in an important meeting where these matters can be discussed. Let’s make a symbolic gesture that we want KU Leuven to take ACTION and march together in solidarity with Palestine !
