Anarchie en Russie : L’histoire de Dmitry Petrov
Le film raconte la vie et la mort des antifascistes et des anarchistes russes qui ont manifesté contre le régime de Poutine en 2011-2012. L’un des héros du film est Dmitry Petrov, aussi connu sous le nom d’Ilya Leshy, anarchiste, écologiste, auteur de livres et d’articles, chercheur sur le Kurdistan et le nord de la Russie. En avril 2023, Dmitry est mort dans la région de Bakhmut, combattant au nom de la défense de la société ukrainienne et de la libération de la Russie du joug de la tyrannie.
« Le film ne contient pas de commentaires ou d’explications, mais est un échantillon représentatif de la réalité russe de l’époque. C’est un regard dans les coulisses d’une société impitoyable et totalitaire et le témoignage de ceux qui y ont résisté », explique le cinéaste Ikirou.

Anarchy in Russia : The Story of Dmitry Petrov
The film tells the story of Russian antifascists and anarchists during the anti-Putin protests of 2011-2012. One of the heroes of the film is Dmitry Petrov, also known as Ilya Leshy, an anarchist, environmentalist, author of books and articles, researcher on Kurdistan and northern Russia. In April 2023, Dmitry died in the Bakhmut region, fighting for the protection of Ukrainian society and the liberation of Russia from the yoke of tyranny.
“The film does not contain any comments or explanations, but is a slice of Russian reality at that time. It is a look behind the scenes of a ruthless totalitarian society and the testimony of those who resisted it,” says the filmmaker Ikirou.

We will screen the movie about participants of anti-fascist and anarchist groups during the anti-Putin protests of 2011-2012.
One of the protagonists of the movie – Dmitry Petrov, also known as Ilya Leshy, Dima the Ecologist, Phil Kuznetsov, Seva and Lev – an anarchist and anti-fascist, environmental activist, author and compiler of a number of books and articles, researcher of the Russian North and Kurdistan.
In 2018 Dmitry left Russia to participate in the struggle for a free society in Kurdistan, Ukraine and around the world. In the spring of 2023, his letter was published : „As an anarchist, a revolutionary and a Russian person… I did it for the sake of justice, the defense of Ukrainian society and – the liberation of my country, Russia, from oppression. For the sake of all the people who are deprived of dignity and the opportunity to breathe freely by the vile totalitarian system created in Russia and Belarus.“ In April, Petrov’s comrades and relatives learned that he had gone missing near Bakhmut. The movie shows episodes of his formation as an activist and strategist of this movement.
After the movie there will be a discussion with Dmitriys friends and comrades as well.
Money collected during the event will go to the educational projects of Dmitry’s family.
