Come and celebrate the end of the ACABIBxAbolish Frontex collab at MONA (225 Avenue de Jette). An evening with food, drinks, all kinds of activities, music & djs and the launch of the zine ’KILL THE EU BEFORE IT KILLS YOU’ !🔥🧨

This zine is a collaboration between different activists from Brussels that was written and illustrated over the course of 6 months, while travelling to Europe’s borders in Poland, Bosnia and Greece. The point of the zine is to draw the attention to the EU’s migration politics that seek to humiliate, punish and murder people on the move at every level, starting with the funding given to the countries of origin and ending with its detention and deportation machine. The zine wants to shed a light on this systematic violence, call out the actors profiting from it and most importantly, be a call to action for activists in Brussels and elsewhere to act against the EU, to look beyond its institutional complexity and aim for the destruction of these policies.

Ce zine est une collaboration entre différents activistes bruxellois qui a été écrit et illustré sur une période de 6 mois, lors de voyages aux frontières européennes en Pologne, en Bosnie et en Grèce. L’objectif de ce zine est d’attirer l’attention sur les politiques migratoires de l’UE qui cherchent à humilier, punir et tuer les personnes en mouvement à tous les niveaux, en commençant par le financement donné aux pays d’origine et en terminant par sa machine de détention et de déportation. Le zine veut mettre en lumière cette violence systématique, dénoncer les acteurs qui en profitent et surtout être un appel à l’action pour des militants à Bruxelles et d’ailleurs, afin qu’iels agissent contre l’UE, qu’iels regardent au-delà de sa complexité institutionnelle et qu’iels visent à la destruction de ces politiques.
